Both work: your team clocks in via the browser, in the employee app for iOS and Android, on a tablet or at the terminal app by the entrance. At the terminal each person signs in with their personal clocking code. You do not need special hardware such as punch clocks or chip cards.

An automatic auto-checkout closes forgotten shifts after a defined maximum time so that no shift runs on endlessly. You then correct the time in the report, or the staff member submits a correction request. Every clocking action and every correction is logged.

The terminal app for iOS and Android keeps working offline: clockings are buffered on the device and submitted automatically as soon as the connection is back. So the time clock at your entrance stays usable even during a network outage.
